Of all the real and imagined differences we use to "distinguish" ourselves from others, surely one of the daftest has to be that of skin tone. We’ve touched on this in the past and, as the issue refuses to go away, we’ll probably do so again in the future. Our lead article in this update focuses on mixed-race Africans, in particular on the way they are either put on pedestals or seen as not "proper" Africans. Freud would have had a field day.
